Fitness is subject to the assessment by the Director General of Civil Aviation New Delhi

Important Training Details & Notes

  • GFTS conducts 300 period of theoritical classess for CPL program. GFTS has 1-Cheif ground instructor and 1-Ground instructor on its strength

  • GFTS presently has about 40 staff on its strength, including 09 technical staff (Maintenance Manager -1,Quality Manager-1, Continuing Airworthiness Manager -1, skilled mechanics-1, semi-skilled mechanics-1, storekeeper-1, aircraft hand-2, aircraft helper-1)

  • AME Students are invited for conduct of OJT for duration of six months at the rate of Rs.15,000

  • AME Students are invited for conduct of Apprentice for duration of three months at the rate of Rs.3,000

  • Landing and parking facilites available for transit aircraft ( Charges for both to be paid as per GFTS approved existing rates ) .Flight Simulator training

  • There is no Night landing facility available at the Jakkur Aerodrome

  • The runway length of 974 meter (3195 feet) capable of landing aircrafts all-of-weight of 5700 kgs

  • GFTS conducts ground classes as required for PPL program. GFTS has 1-Cheif ground instructor and 1-Ground instructor on its strength
