My career in the Indian Navy spanned operational aviation, warship command, and air squadron leadership — giving me direct, hands-on understanding of what professional aviation demands at every level.
That experience — the discipline, the systems thinking, the judgement under pressure, the long training path that produces a real pilot rather than someone who has merely passed tests — is what The Pilot's Compass is built on.
After leaving uniform, I spent considerable time observing the Indian aviation training landscape: families investing their savings into cadet programmes, students navigating selection processes with limited authentic guidance, and the gap between what aspirants need and what most providers deliver. I built this to address that gap.
